Discover the Beaujolais beyond Nouveau

Every third Thursday of November, the world welcomes Beaujolais Nouveau — the young wine that has become the symbol of the region. We will use this celebration as a starting point to show you the other, lesser-known but truly impressive face of Beaujolais: Beaujolais Cru.

The evening will begin with a glass of Beaujolais Nouveau to honour the tradition before we take the journey through the 10 legendary Cru villages — the source of the region's most elegant, complex, and age-worthy wines.

During the tasting you will enjoy 5 carefully selected Beaujolais Cru wines, paired with specially prepared gourmet bites that will highlight their character and reveal the richness of the terroir.

Evening highlights:

● Taste 5 wines from different Cru appellations of Beaujolais;

● Compare the style of Beaujolais Nouveau with Cru wines;

● Get to know the ten famous Cru villages — Saint-Amour, Juliénas, Chénas, Moulin-à-Vent, Fleurie, Chiroubles, Morgon, Régnié, Côte de Brouilly, and Brouilly;

● Discover how the Gamay grape can produce both fresh and fruity wines and complex wines with excellent ageing potential;

● Hear fascinating stories about the region and its wine traditions.

The event will be hosted by a WSET Level 3 certified lecturer, who will share practical knowledge, curious facts, and help you understand why Beaujolais Cru deserves a place among France's greatest red wines.

● 60 ml of each of the five Beaujolais Cru wines;
