The world of wine can sometimes feel like a foreign language, filled with terms like terroir, tannins, appellation, cuvée, and malolactic fermentation. The truth is, you don't need to be a sommelier to understand and enjoy wine.

Introduction to Wine is a practical course for anyone who wants to build a solid foundation of wine knowledge, choose wine with more confidence, and feel comfortable both at a restaurant and in front of a wine shelf.

Over four practical sessions, you'll discover that wine can be interesting, accessible, and above all – a pleasure.

The Course Includes

• 4 sessions of 2 hours each;

• How wine is made and what happens between the vineyard and the bottle;
• The most popular grape varieties and why we prefer some wines over others;
• The main wine regions of the world and how to read wine labels;
• Basic principles of food and wine pairing, as well as proper serving and storage;

After the Course You Will Be Able To:

• Choose wine with more confidence for any occasion;
• Understand the basic wine terminology;
• Taste and describe wine with greater confidence;
• Navigate more easily among wine styles, varieties, and labels.

The course is led by instructors certified with WSET Level 3 in Wines and a Sommelier diploma from New Bulgarian University.
